Rich is excellent at his teaching craft... I was anticipating a lack luster day but it was a pleasant surprise. I especially appreciate the real sense of freedom to ask questions; no matter how remedial they seemed to be.
I took the L1 and L2 courses at a company called New Horizons. This is significantly better. The New Horizons courses cost $590 each with no instruction. We were simply given books and expected to learn on our own. The instructor was very knowledgeable and good at teaching. I would definitely come back for more courses.
Rich did a great job of listening to how I use Access as a part of my consulting role and on a day to day basis. This helped make the concepts I was learning extremely concrete and memorable. I greatly appreciated the Training Connection allowing me to still take the class despite being the only person participating - this was a great way to learn the ins and outs of Access and VBA programming. Would definitely take another course from Rich!
This class was a great experience. The instructor was very helpful and engaged. Well worth the investment of time away from the office to focus on "out of the box" thinking from a Finance professional viewpoint.

I can honestly say that prior to my access courses with Training Connection I knew absolutely nothing about designing a database. Rich is a great teacher! I actually just re-took level 2 after about four or five months. In between the first class and this retake, I taught a co-worker the basics and we just took this class together. We have so many ideas of how to use Access to make our work faster, easier and have a greater impact with data analysis. Being able to retake the classes is definitely an enormous benefit - this second time around really enforced everything, plus I learned a lot of new functions.
